Greeting -=-

I have seen several posting concerning Internet to Bitnet troubles -=- this
may help

If using .bitnet as the top level domain name doesnt work -=- i found out
that it needs to be sent to one of the BITNET gateways -=- the e-mail program
in the gateway will automatically translate this into a full internet to
bitnet addressee

Address msg as follows:
        bitnet-user-id%bitnet_node.bitne{@bitnet-gateway-address

for example, if u want to send a msg to NAME, whose BITNET address is
NAME@BITHOST on BITNET, as an internet user, you would address it to

        NAME%BITHOST.BITNE{@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU
(the cunyvm.cuny.edu is a Bitnet gateway adrs)

other bitnet gateways > cornellc.cit.cornell.edu
                        pucc.princeton.edu
