MEDIA POSITION IN KISSIMMEE, FL

Dear LM_NET'ers:

We have a position available at Poinciana High School in Kissimmee,
Florida.  The high school which I work at is almost brand new, with this
being our first full school year in the Media Center.  Our high school is
located just south of Kissimmee, FL (South of Orlando) and about twenty
minutes from the entrance to Disney World.  The Media Center Staff consists
of myself a full time aid and a .5 Network Specialist and the new Media
Specialist.  We have a diverse student body of 1,400 students and are one
of four high schools in the county.

Our automation system consists of sixteen IBM compatibles located through
out the Media Center to access our Online Catalog.  We also have a seven
disc CD-ROM tower, which can be accessed by any one of the 16 computers.

Qualifications:

Osceola County Schools is looking for a Media Specialist with a Master's
Degree from an accredited Library School program.  Applicant must have
computer skills and be able to work with both IBM's & Macintosh Computers
(Over 300 computers located at the high school).  Applicant must have good
people skills.  Must be willing to team teach with teachers, as well as
having an interest to learn about the Internet.

Starting salary (with no previous teaching experience):  $24,500 9mths
