My wife asked if I would post a copy of her message from another conference. Perhaps some of you know of something that would be helpful to her... ---------------------------------------- From : LIS HENRY Number : 777 of 959 To : EDTECH@MSU.EDU Date : 12/05/93 8: Subject : Intoduction Reference : NONE Read : NO Private : NO Conf : 016 - INTERNET E-Mail I have been _lurking_ in the Edtech Conference for the past month and have enjoyed the range of topics and advice available here. I am a secondary school teacher of math and computer science in Bolton, Ontario and I am in the process of developing an integrated 3 credit course for next September of Grade 10 Advanced math/introduction to computers/technology-design & construction. I am looking for any other courses that have been devloped for this type of integration. We are looking at using the math curriculum as the focus and design work tasks/projects/assignments and activities around that as a core. We have an international manufacturing company (in partnership with our school) which has great research and development facilities right in Bolton. Any suggestions, lesson plans, projects, ideas or other helpful comments would be appreciated.
