Our Social Studies 10 classes are about to start on their annual
Pacific Rim project which involves them planning a detailed three week
"holiday" somewhere in the Pacific Rim with a fixed budget.
The classes usually rely on the traditional sources of information
but this year I would like to introduce at least
a few of the students to the internet.
Here's what I need: some suggestions (routings) to get
to information about hotel rates, local attractions, travel advisories,
etc in places like Thailand, Indonesia, Chile, and so on. I have found a
gopher in Asia which gives me this for Thailand and I can find the night
spot shows in Wellington, New Zealand but there must be more out there.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can make.
