A good source  for you might be the Center for Research or something that
now seems to be under Prentice Hall.  They produced to books (among many
for librarians), both individualized  learning approaches to library and
research skills.  The titles are something like Hooked on Research.  I'll
try to get you the full titles.  I've used some of the lessons very
successfully at my school.
