Just read your letter in SLJ.  I just sent a subscription to LM_NET and
(since this is definitely the blind leading the blind at our school district)
I hope you can give me an elementary answer:-)  How do I access LM_NET after
I'm on the list??  I have just started using E-mail .. most of it has been
local to our University.  Any help you can send will be most welcome!!

Welcome to LM_NET. I think you will enjoy some of the discussions, and you will
 always find at least one someone who can answer a question, no matter how obscu
 re.
You will receive messages from LM_NET and individual Netters on your regular e-m
 ail account.
I am not more than a novice myself, but I love it. Sometimes though, the amount
 of mail can be overwhelming so try to keep up and read it every day. You should
  receive a message from the system operators explaining how to send mail to the
  entire net, and
how to temporarily stop receiving mail.
I hope this message gets to you in its entirety, my computer screen is doing ver
 y strange stuff.
