Good news! I spoke with Mel last night. He had made several attempts to call, howwever, the circuits were all busy. He said that he and his wife gladys were doing just fine. apparently his house did not sustain structural damage. The two have been working on cleaning up their multitude of books which tumbled from the shelfs. He was in good spirits, as a matter of fact, I would classify it as upbeat. This system proves how powerful it is as we not only share our knowledge but understanding and care. Thank you to the anonymous LMNET person in LA who took the time and effort to find Mel's phone number to check up on him. We are so powerful. Best wishes to all our LMNETers in LA and everywhere, Sophia Smith On Wed, 19 Jan 1994, Rita Kaikow (Oceanside High School) wrote: > Sophia, > You took the words right out of my mouth.
