From your message I assume you have no English as Second Language teachers to
provide materials and time for this this child.  We have many children from all
parts of the world in my (two) schools: Korean, Viet Nam, South American,
Japanese, Farsi, Russian, etc etc.  As I librarian I suggest finding some very
easy beginning to read books or easy English picture dictionaries to help him
recognize simple objects.  You might even invest in a paperback How to book on
Danish.  I think you will be quite amazed at how quickly he picks up ordinary
language from the other kids.  I bet he already has some English vocabulary.
Ask at your public library if they have  any appropriate  materials.  Sorry I
cant be of more practical help.  Let us know how he does.
