Nationally I recommend AASL.  ALso check your state's library/media
organization.  Here in Calif. it's Calif. Media and Library Educators
Association (CMLEA).  In MN it's MEMO, don't know of other states.  For
education there are many, but one of the best for educational trends,
etc. is ASCD - Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
Their journal EDUCAITONAL LEADERSHIP is always a step ahead of the next
hot topic in education.
