Newsgroups: schl.sig.lmnet Path: ml05451 From: ml05451@llwnet.ll.pbs.org (Roy H. Mann) Subject: New to Internet Organization: WNET / PBS Learning Link, New York, NY Date: Mon, 9 May 1994 15:09:51 GMT Message-ID: <CpJJGG.EMy@llwnet.ll.pbs.org> X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] This is my first time on LM_NET. I recently attended the New York School Library Media conference in Saratoga Springs. I heard Mike Eisenberg for the second time. The first time I heard him was during a staff development of New York City School Librarians during the eighties. At SLMS, this year, Mike helped me, along with others, to understand how to even attempt the Internet. This is my maiden voyage. I'm having a difficult time negotiating. But I think I'll get the hang of it. What really rock my socks is that I had a way to go on LM_NET. I could have done this months ago, perhaps even a year or more ago. I didn't understand how. Now that I do, I'm ready to grow in more understanding. Thanks, Mike. Esther McRae, SMS, Roy H. Mann I.S. 78, Brooklyn, N.Y. Ml05451@llwnet.ll.pbs.org.
