Welcome back to school group! As I collect addresses, and as students collect addresses of gopher sites and URLs, I want to make the information generally available to students without each student having to stumble through the Internet looking for sources of information. Has anyone created an index of "gopher jewels" etc. using their OPAC? It occurred to me that if the addresses were on the OPAC the students could print out the address and go then go to the Mac lab where the computers are hooked to the net. If a student did not have an Internet account then my clerk or myself could help them with a search. Anyone traveled down this road? Thanks. ***************************************************************************** Floyd Pentlin, Library Media Specialist / Lee's Summit High School, Div. 2 400 Blue Parkway / Lee's Summit, MO 64063 / VOICE: 816-251-3418 FAX: 816-251-3419 / E-MAIL: fpentlin@hobbs.leesummit.k12.mo.us "What's another word for thesaurus?" - Steve Wright *****************************************************************************
