Last year I saw a segment on a TV news program--I forget which one--about a pro basketball player who stutters. Because he avoids talking to the press, he has not received the recognition he deserves for his basketball accomplishments, which are impressive. I think he plays for a team somewhere in the South. If anyone knows the name of this player, it would be a good one for Judy Hauser's list, and I would appreciate having it, too. We have two junior high students who stutter, and I would like to share this athlete's story with them.
