Sara McKee points out a common problem which my own home pages are and will again soon be facing - service providers and directories change, taking the addresses of your cherished pages with you! I think I read in MacUser recently of a piece of software which tracked these changes but I can't lay my hands on the article. Can anyone else? In the distance I gather there are plans to change the whole system of URLs to attach addresses more permanently to files/pages rather than to where they are (after all you don't change your name when you move to another room...) but that's not on the cards yet. Those with the problem of moving their own e-mail address might like to know of a life-time address / reposting system - more details at http://pobox.com/ Could be a life saver for those who don't want to spend their lives attached to a single service provider! -------------------------- _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ _/ Duncan Grey, Head of Resources | Hinchingb-pess@ bbcnc.org.uk _/ _/ Hinchingbrooke School | http://www.worldserver.pipex.com/ _/ _/ Huntingdon UK PE18 6BN | nc/Hinch/hinchhome.html _/ _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/
