Gen: After school programs/storytelling

I'm writing a paper on starting after school programs especially involving
storytelling.

I was wondering if any of you have developed programs such as this.  If so
what did you need to do for support, how did you convince others of the
value of the program, and was it successful?

I really appreciate all the input I get from you all out there.  It is
invaluable and I hope to be able to do the same sometime.
