Target: Pronunciations of characters in books

I enjoy reading and storytelling from my favorite titles but I have run
across a problem.  I hear tellers pronouncing differently than myself.
For example, my favorite trickster is Anansi the spider and my favorite
"witch" is Baba Yaga.  How do you pronounce their names?  I certainly
appreciate those books that help the reader out by giving the correct
pronunciation, but these are two characters I need help with.  Thanks in
advance.
