Hi Deb, I am a media specialist in a k-6 school of 460 students. I am full-time with no aide, but I have been in part-time situations before. I stop book circulation 3wekb before the last day of school, thus making all books due 2 weeks before the last day. Th media center remains open for teachers to bring their classe for work, research, use computers or VCR, etc. I do prep time for the kindergarten teachers so I have to see those classes til the end. I do games and story videos with them the last 2 weeks. Hope this helps.
