I worked in a library throughout high school and college and found myself in another one again in the early '70's wondering if I would ever find a job outside libraries. I earned my MLS while working in the Rare Book Room at a University Graduate Library, then took 10 years to raise my twin sons. At the time of my divorce, I needed to get back into the work force, and decided to add a teaching certificate to my MLS so I could work in a school library and have a schedule similar to my sons'. The big surprise for me was discovering I love it! Bettie Fisher, Media Specialist, Ann Arbor Public Schools 9628 Daisy Lane Dexter, MI 48130 fisherb@dexter.k12.mi.us
