STAR Testing

We are considering purchasing the AR reading program for our junior high of
200 students.  I have a meeting with my principal to pitch the program.
Could some of you tell me your successes and frustrations with this
program?  Secondly, have any of you used the STAR program to test reading
levels of students.  Is this a good tracking device?  Is it worth the
money?

Any opinions would be welcomed!!!
