CD-ROM impact on society

Dear all:

I have a teacher who has assigned a topic of 'CD-ROM's impact on society'
to students.  We have a few sources, but 30 students have this assignment!
Do you have any suggestions of articles covering this topic?  They *CAN* be
from academic journals (we will request from interlibrary loan), but our
indexes only list a couple of relevant articles.   At the moment, we do not
have internet access.
