Subject: SEC: TARGET: Library Pro 2.0
Our 6th grade teacher wants her students to use the Internet to research an
assigned state.  They are looking for basic facts, pictures and information
about state symbols.  Does anyone have any suggestions for sites?

We are planning to automate and our school is using MAC School.  Library
Pro 2.0 is being considered as a logical choice.  I would like to hear from
libraries that are using this system--positives and negatives.  Also any
suggestions on a retro conversion vendor.  We are a small high school with
about 4,000 volumns, 250 students grades 9-12.  Future plans are to
automate the ele/middle school into a union catalog and eventually put the
catalog on the internet.
