I send home a library brochure that spells out our policy on lost books and fines. They have been informed and they can "choose" to not borrow from the library . I think some parents would not agree if given the choice and the one who suffers is the child. I find almost more frustrating are the ones who are more than happy to pay than to look for the book. Often it is a book that is no longer in print or a magazine that we will not really replace. -- Cheryl A.
