Now, I'm more confused than ever!! It seems the general concensus was that my colleague can show the taped version once during the first 10 days after its first broadcast. She then must erase or destroy the recording. She MUST have direct instruction objectives in her lesson plans. I also received many other confilcting, but interesting, replies: * She cannot show it at all because it was taped from a "pay" channel (not like The Classroom Channel, even though it is cable, too.) * She can show it once within the first 45 days after it was originally broadcast, and once more for reinforcement within the first 10 days after she originally showed it (not to a different class), then erase or destroy it. * She can show it this time (fair use), then must purchase the video. * She CANNOT show it because Sowtime is not an off-air channel. I have not yet located any purchasing information for a legal copy of the video, but I will post the information as soon as I find it! Thanks for helping, as usual!!!
