My principal has asked me to do some research on the number of staff/hours at other library media centers in secondary schools. Our school runs 9-12 grades and has 1700+ students. We have one full time librarian and one part-time (20 hours/week) textbook clerk. Anyone in a high school with 1500-2000 students who would like to respond so that I may have evidence to support our request for more help please respond to me at my email address: dadald@gte.net. I'd appreciate some information also on standards for staffing high school libraries if anyone knows a source. Thank you. Ann Diener Calabasas High School Library 22855 W.
