For those asking questions about Australia. My library website http://www.zeta.org.au/~stagstaf/general.html has links to information about Australia especially the BlackStump site which is slow to load but can be searched. Officially Christmas Day in Australia is the same as the USA 25 December. We are just ahead of you due to the dateline :-) People with German heritage (and probably others) often celebrate on Christmas Eve and those with an Orthodox tradition have another date. I will take this opportunity to send greetings and thanks to all those who gave me a warm welcome in Birmingham, Alabama. Am now home and over the jetlag looking forward to our long summer break starting in 2 weeks.
