Friends, A new librarian in one of our High Schools has recently gone through her collection only to discover that 40% of it is older than 1972! She would like to know what average age a collection should be and and perhaps what the average age for many high schools is. If you can suggest somewhere for me to get this information, I would appreciate it very much. She wants to take this to her Superintendent in order to get a better book budget. Thanks, Barbara Wall School Library System Director Oswego and OCM BOCES Mexico (snow not sun), NY bawall@northnet.org bwall@oswegoboces.rog =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
