senior projects

At JCB High School in Phoenix, New York, all seniors participate in a
job-shadowing program in their English classes. They research jobs of
interest to them, make arrangements to spend one day job-shadowing with some
one working in their desired job, write a report, and prepare a display. On
one day in the spring, all seniors who have completed their projects set up
their displays in the gym and spend the day explaining their work to other
classes, parents, younger students, any one who shows up. It's like a career
fair, and very popular.
