LM_NET Archive

Friends,

There has been much discussion lately about the archives and
questions that keep coming up. Repeated queries are
inevitable given LM_NET's growth rate, and the archives are
more accessible for some than for others.

I have been memorializing selected HITs for a couple of
years on All Together Now. They are located in the section
entitled "Librarians Only," under categories such as
Collection Development, Instruction, and Reading Promotion.
Each HIT has a link to a Contributor's Form for librarians
to add additional ideas.

I will continue to add to this collection, although I don't
have as much time as I used to. HITs generally take a lot of
editing, to cut down on repetition and eliminate material
not directly related to the topic. Then, they must be
HTMLized and uploaded. But if one is aware of their
existence, they do provide a simple and accessible means of
covering topics that come up time and time again.
