TECH: projection device

We are in the process of selecting a projection device to use in the
library to teach technology--catalog, CDROM encyclopedias, etc.  We are
looking for something easy to connect (will be used in two libraries and
occasionally loaned to classrooms).  I would appreciate advice as to
brands, models, specifications, etc.  We hope to buy something reliable
and of good quality.  We have budgeted $5000.  TIA.
