One of the things that they do at University of Rhode Island in a library administration class is present a number of case studies that represent situations that really happened in libraries. We talked about the case studies individually as well as exploring similarities between the cases. As a group, one of the things that we discussed was looking at the whole situation, being aware of others teaching and learning styles and reactions. Many things that we do are regulated by policies and procedures, but the human element is just as important.
