My wonderful Student Assistance Specialist came to me with this request and I'm "phoning--(OK, I'm typing) some friends " for help. We've just started a peer mediation group in our K-5 school and she would like to introduce it to the students using a short story with kids in conflict with on another. We're going with The Pain & The Great One for K-2 because it illustrated how there are 2 sides to every story but we're both at a lost for something more "grown-up" for grade 3. Any ideas?
