Our district is beginning to entertain the idea of a district librarian. We are a fast growing, 46,000 pupil K-12 district. We have 5 high schools, 5 middle schools and 38+ elementary schools. We need to put together a rationale that will show them that a DL is really necessary. If you have any thoughts on this subject, including statistics, could you send them along.
