I really appreciate everyone who gave me suggestions. It is wonderful to be
a part of such a cooperative group! (Especially since today I was told by a
teacher that everytime I am on the computer that I am not working.)

I spoke with the people at World Book and learned that the Student Discovery
Encyclopedia (great for grades 3-5) is going to be published in a Spanish
version in the spring. I will be one of the first in line for this!
However, too late for this project!

Other suggestions included:

The only web-based Spanish encyclopedia I know of is Grolier's new Cumbre
encyclopedia. Unfortunately, when I viewed the demo the text seems more
appropriate for possibly middle school and high school.

Cumbre encyclopedia information is available at:
 http://cumbredemo.grolier.com/

You may find the Icarito site from Chile
helpful:http://www.icarito.cl/ Good luck!

Our school was recently given a free trial to Grolier Online- which includes
an encylopedia written entirely in Spanish. The number for Grolier, if you
are interested, is 1-800-387-1437 and their website is
<http://go.grolier.com>
I hope this helps! Good luck!
