TARGET: Elementary magazines

Being a first-year LMS working at two schools, I'm a little behind schedule
and am just now finishing up a periodical order for my K-5 elementary school.
The principal has approved my order, but has concerns about three of the
periodicals on my list -- Baseball Digest, Football Digest and Outdoor Life.
Since I'm using other people's recommendations from this listserve, I'm not
familiar with these periodicals myself, and I haven't seen Baseball Digest
since I used to read it as a kid. Her specific concerns are as follows:
    1. Are there any objectionable ads in Baseball and Football Digest, such
as for escort services, etc?
    2. Are there many ads in Outdoor Life for gun purchases?
    If you are familiar with any of these publications, please let me know
what I should tell her. Thanks!
