HIT: Favourite Book to Movie 7-9

Hey all.

My original post - I would love to know what you think would be the best
book/movie to use for a comparison study in grades 7-9.

The Outsiders
Jane Eyre
Rebecca
The Princess Bride
Treasure Island
Other more recent ones include the Jane Austen titles--esp. Pride and
Prejudice, Sense
and Sensibility and Emma.  And then there's always Shakespeare!

Homer Hickam's memoir Rocket Boys which was made into the movie October Sky.
