Target: Elem. book request

Hi, LM_NETTERS,
        I had an unusual request from a teacher today and I could use
some help.  He is going to be growing bread mold with his K-2 class
in a few days and is hoping for a story in which mold appears
somewhere.  I can't think of any and my searches haven't turned up
anything.  Anybody have any ideas?
