Athena Question

I am trying to delete students from Athena who no longer go to my
school.  The problem I am having is that Athena won't let me delete them
because they still have the record of having a "lost" book on their
file.  Even after I went through each one and changed the status from
lost to withdrawn, I still can't delete them
HELP!!!
