Hello :) I have a teacher whose 2 year old son is having trouble coping with his father being called to active duty with the Coast Guard. She is wondering if there are any picture books dealing with a parent leaving home for a while because they are in the military. She's also wondering what resources might be available to her in helping him cope, through the Coast Guard or the Department of Defense or elsewhere. I'm hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks, Julie Julie Anderson, Librarian Liberty High School, Renton, WA 425.837.4901 andersonj@issaquah.wednet.edu "Fiction is a lie about the truth."
