Mary, You might consider buying one DVD player and begin to acquire some titles on DVD if you feel that there are advantages to moving to that format. The ability to continue to use your current collection of videocassettes would seem to be of more priority to me. Even though we are moved to want the newest in all technology, the bottom line is: Does what I have continue to do what I bought it to do? At my former school, an overzealous/under informed individual removed all the Apple II computers we owned (several dozen) even though there were not nearly enough 'more advanced' computers to replace them. We then suffered from students not being able to do the word processing they had, and could have continued, to do on the older computers we no longer owned! Cheers!
