When my library LAN was set up, the circulation desk was left out of the loop, so to speak. Tthe computers on the floor (around a large computer desk area) are networked -- but now I want to set up my circulation at the circ desk, and want that computer connected to the rest of the computers (and printer!). I have only seen articles, etc. about wireless solutions for laptops. Is there a way to put a wireless network card (whatever they are called) in a desktop? Can you buy certain desktops with the card already installed? Where can I find more info about this? Thanks!
