Hi--
I asked whether anyone had a quick way of printing individual overdue
notices in Spectrum similar to what Winnebago Circ/Cat allows (simply
get student record on monitor, and print).

Thanks to Marsha, Rita, Paula, and Larry for the following information.
I'm most interested in the screen-capture program.

Myra Gross, Educational Media Specialist
Logan Township Elementary School
Logan Township, NJ

Last night I had a patron who wanted a list of everything she
had out. So I went under reports and did a list of materials checked out
and just used the
person's name as the from and to range. It didn't take long.

We use the Slip printer which prints what they have checked out when
thry check out a book. We also run
overdues once a week.

I create a material barcode that reads "These are the materials you have
out:" Then in the
circulation screen I have the student's name, scan the barcode for the
above statement (I have it taped
to the desk), check it out and the slip printer prints the receipt. You
just have to remember to
check it back in!

You can't print from the screen the way you could with circ/cat because
the print screen key doesn't work the same in Windows. You will need a
special screen capture program that can capture and the send the screen
to print. ScreenPrint Deluxe is one example. A freeware program,
downloadable from the internet called ScreenPrint 32 also works.
