As usual, you all have come through with flying colors! I got quite a few answers and a couple of requests to post a hit. For anyone who missed the original request these are regular-sized bookmarks with a transparent yellow window to show one line of print at a time. There only seems to be one place to get them, but several folks had comments. Thank you all so much! Cindy Denning TWU MLIS student Once and future librarian Collinsville, TX cynden744@aol.com Here is the info: The bookmarks you are referring to can be ordered through Really Good Stuff. Their website is: <A HREF="http://www.reallygoodstuff.org/default.asp">http://www.reallygoodstuff.org/default.asp</A> They are called EZC readers and she can find them under the topic of classroom helpers. The Reallygoodstuff catalogcarries the EZC Reader bookmark. It comes with a blue stripe or yellow stripe, either wide or narrow (primary, intermediate) or an extra wide line to highlight 2 lines at a time. They come 12 to a package for 5.95. You can find them on their website: <A HREF="http://www.reallygoodstuff.org/">http://www.reallygoodstuff.org</A> You can use clear reportcovers with the plastic slide bar for this. They come in all colors. Blue transparent, yellow transparent. Checkwith an office supply store. I have some and use them for my classroom. The only place I've ever seen them is from Really Good Stuff (they really do have good stuff and cheap!). You can visit them online at www.reallygoodstuff.com I bought yellow and blue-lined bookmarks. I bought some for my elementary kids that have a wider 'viewing' space. There are some now made for older kids with a narrower space. They now have different decorations on the bookmark part itself so it will look a bit cooler for the older kids. I didn't think it would make that much difference, but it really has. I use them for my readers who have trouble focusing and get side tracked with a page with a lot of print. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
