        We here in Independence MO have also chosen to keep the horrible
scenes away from our students eyes.  This is a district wide desicion for
all levels.  We also feel that it is the parents' place to determine if the
students can watch something that has affected our own nation so
dramatically and so terribly.

        Listening to the news unfold on the radio by teachers desks have
been allowed.  Students, parents and all teachers are in a state of shock.
We all pray that justice is served on those who have created this tragic
event!
