Bombing

Hello,

Most of the students at our school have been taken home by parents.  =
Only a few are remaining.  The police are patrolling the entire area, =
and the mayor is apparently in the building talking to our school =
officials. =20

On behalf of our school and the entire Muslim American community, I =
would like to issue our prayers and sympathy for all of the victims and =
their families.  Such a horrible act is a tragedy not only for America =
but for all of humanity. =20

The AMPCC statement read in part:=20

"American Muslims utterly condemn what are apparently vicious and =
cowardly acts of terrorism against innocent civilians. We join with all =
Americans in calling for the swift apprehension and punishment of the =
perpetrators. No political cause could ever be assisted by such immoral =
acts."=20

* The AMPCC consists of American Muslim Alliance, American Muslim =
Council, Council on American-Islamic Relations, and Muslim Public =
Affairs Council.
