HIT: book week

I like to make the library look special during that week without using =

I cover the student tables with different colored butcher paper.  The =
classes=20
come in as usual.  After the lesson and check out, the students sit at =
the=20
tables and read.  I have out crayons on the tables.  Each student in=20
celebration of the week, students can write their name and favorite book =
on=20
the table.  The K kids draw a picture and I write the title.

The tables ending up being really festive and fun to read.  At the end =
of=20
school on Friday, I just tear the paper off and am ready for Monday's =
classes.
