Dear all: Thank you for your expressions of concern. Our students, many of whom are from abroad and not staying with parents, have found safe haven and we all got home. There is an acrid smoke smell and ash and debris in my neighborhood of Brooklyn, and the skyline is very changed. However, we may have lost some of our extended family - and I'm sure that my school is not the only one in NYC or DC so affected. Your prayers and wishes are deeply appreciated.
