I have been reading the postings on the tragedy. Somehow they are comforting. We heard the news at the end of our school day. I was just closing my library to go home. We didn't believe the first person who came in to tel= l us. All of our schools (Department of Defense Dependents Schools) are closed for at least today. We have been asked not to go in at all. All of the bases are on the highest level of alert. Can only think of the many schools in DC and New York who must be closed as well. I hope that parent= s can be with their children today. The Germans that I have talked to since yesterday are as shocked as we al= l are. Deborah J. Stafford Gen. H.H.
