Unfortunately, we have been informed that one parent (a dad) has been lost in the WTC tragedy. There are three children affected... one not yet in school, a kindergartner, and a second grader. Staff members at my K-1 school (there are only 7 classroom teachers) decided to collect money, and we are having food sent to the house. Hopefully, we have only lost only the one, (rather it was zero, but considering the numbers of families with parents working in the WTC area, it's a miracle it's just one). Continued thoughts and prayers to all. ****************** Suzanne (Weinheimer) Ng, Librarian South Orange - Maplewood School District, NJ email - sng@somsd.k12.nj.us home: suzanne@whatexit.com http://www.southmountain.somsd.k12.nj.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
