Dear Folks, I'm helping out in my daughter's school library (Hunter College Elementary School in NYC) where they're doing a biography unit. Does anyone know of a 3rd or 4th grade level biography of Clara Lemlich? She was a teenage Labor Union organizer in the early part of the century. She might also be mentioned in books on the ILGWU Strike of 1909 in NYC, aka known as Women's Factory Strike. Thanks! Please e-mail me directly with your responses.
