GEN: Books added as memorials

We have an increasing number of books donated to our elementary library
because of the ease of doing memorials and the public acknowledgment.
I purchase books from many sources including Half-Price books.
They are on a shelf in the library office and teachers and
administrators browse
and pull as needed.  Letters of acknowledgment are sent and memorials
are listed
both in the monthly newsletter and on the interactive web site. Besides
standard memorials, we have had teachers honored by classes, teacher's
birthday's recognized and retirements honored.  Book memorials are now
standard in lieu of flowers for faculty and staff funerals.  The
