MID: Study Skills Curriculum

Help!

I have been fighting this battle for five years now and I have finally
got my hands on some money to pay for study skills materials.  Now I
just need materials!  I have about 6 different catalogs I am looking
through, but I need recommendations.  If you have  great study skills
materials in your school, could you please let me know the series and
the publisher?  I am looking for consumable or reproducible workbooks:
it doesn't matter!  We are looking at basic reading and writing and
thinking skills for 8th and 9th graders.
